Padbury Village Hall
Welcome to Padbury Village Hall
Padbury Village Hall is located centrally in the village and is less than three miles from Buckingham. It is a great place for people to run clubs or activities, socialise, have fun, celebrate anniversaries, hold meetings or just generally get together.
Built as the Village School in 1840 it became Padbury Village Hall in 1965 when the building was sold to a group of village trustees to be run as a village hall “for the benefit of the village and the neighbourhood”. Currently well over 200 people a week use the hall for activities which include WI, bingo, art classes, camera club, table tennis matches, the Friendly Club, pilates classes and numerous other events. It also hosts such traditional annual events as the Sick Benefit Society weekend and the Padbury Village Produce Show.
As a registered charity the hall is run by a group of six trustees, elected annually, and other committee members co-opted from all the main user groups. The committee works hard to ensure that the hall remains well run, financially viable and fulfils its main purpose of benefiting the community. If you are interested in joining an activity, running a new class or hiring the hall for a one off event read on and you will find contact details, fees and other useful information.
